    Like a lot of women out there, I have always carried a bit of extra weight around my hips, bottom and legs. I have battled with my weight since childhood. Even before hitting my teenage years I remember the boys calling me fatty, my uncle would sing to me ‘hey fatty bum bum’.

    When I got to high school I found it worse. I was always known as the fat one, the boys would call me man legs, log legs, tree trunk legs. All of these comments I would ignore but inside it hurt so much and I never forgot these words. I lost all my confidence and would hide my body under baggy clothes. I would never wear dresses or skirts preferring to keep everything hidden.
    After leaving school my weight issues got worse, I tried many diets but found it too hard with the calorie counting and what to eat and what not to eat.

    This is what I love about the Cambridge Weight Plan. The calories are there in black and white and it was so easy for me to follow. I didn’t have to think about anything, it was all there in simple terms for me to understand.

    I am now the happiest I have ever been with myself. I love to wear dresses and skirts and am no longer afraid to get my legs out worried about what people might think or say. I wish I would have done this years ago. There’s nothing better than feeling comfortable in your own skin and wearing the clothes you want to wear.

    I have worked in the weight loss and cosmetic surgery industry since 2006 and it’s something I feel very passionate about. I love seeing the transformations of people and the happiness they get once they reach their goals. Their new found confidence. The person they have always wanted to be.
